2015 Labor Law posters have arrived. If you preordered a poster for your business, stop by the chamber office to pick up your reserved copy. Businesses are required to post updated employment posters at each place of business. If you did not order a poster but would like an updated copy for your business, limited quantities of extra posters are available for purchase at the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street, on a first- come, first-serve basis.
The first chamber mixer of the year will be hosted by Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. No-host bar and appetizers will be served. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend to mingle with friends and business associates.
Mark your calendar to attend the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce’s 127th Annual Chamber Membership Dinner & Awards Night, planned for Friday, February 27, 2015 beginning at 6pm, at Lassen Steaks. The Chamber board is seeking nominations for “Chamber Member of the Year”, “Chamber Business of the Year”, and “Volunteer of the Year”. Please submit your written nomination to the Chamber office by February 9, 2015.
Tickets for the Susanville Elks Annual Crab Feed are available for purchase at the Chamber office. The crab feed will be held on Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st, beginning at 6pm. Menu will include crab, prawns, clam chowder, salad, and French bread, as well as three beverages with each ticket purchased. Seating is limited to 200 each night.
