Board member Debra Martinez has announced that she will be relocating out of the area and will be resigning from the board. The Chamber board is accepting applications to fill one board vacancy; the term will begin in June 2015. Chamber members who are interested in helping to promote the business community and Lassen County by serving are encouraged to apply. Stop by the Chamber office for an application. The annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show is planned for Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. If your business falls under the categories of home, garden, or outdoor recreation we encourage you to participate. The average event attendance is around 1200 people so it is worthwhile to showcase your business. Indoor and outdoor 10’x10’ booth spaces are available on a first come first served basis; spaces are filling up quickly. The chamber office is down to a very limited quantity of 2015 Labor Law posters that are still available for sale. The poster features all federal and state regulations that are required to be posted on one poster. Businesses must post updated employment posters at each place of business. Stop by the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street, to purchase a copy for your business.
