The Chamber board is currently working on a membership drive. If you have been thinking about joining the chamber now is a great time to come on board. A new member special rate is being offered to all new business members. Contact the office staff at 257-4323 or any board member if you would like more information. Applications can also be downloaded from our website at lassencountychamber.org.
Board member, Dirk Ellena, submitted his resignation from the board of directors. His resignation leaves an unexpired term to be filled. The Chamber board is accepting applications to fill the board vacancy.
Chamber members who are interested in sharing their time and talent to help promote the business community and Lassen County by serving on the board are encouraged to apply. Applications are available at the Chamber office, located at 75 North Weatherlow Street. Deadline to return an application is Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
Mark your calendar to attend the August Chamber Mixer that is planned for Thursday, August 22, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. C&S Waste Solutions, Town & Country Real Estate, and Williams Sound have teamed up to co-host this mixer and invite the community to join in the fun evening planned.
The mixer will be held at C&S Waste Solutions located at 471-825 Diane Drive, Susanville. The community is invited to stop to mingle with friends and business associates, enjoy live music featuring “Fourgery”, food and beverages will also be served. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed to join in the fun.
