Grizzly Artists: Homecoming is almost here, and Lassen High will be having a Chalk Pastel Art Day to help decorate the campus on Tuesday September 26th. Chalk artwork will be following this year’s Homecoming theme of Gold Rush on the cement wall leading to the 700 building.
Gold Rush artworks can include anything to do with gold, treasure, pirates, prospectors, train robberies, Aladdin, etc. and/or anything to do with Lassen Grizzlies.
All students who enjoy creating art are encouraged to help create the temporary outdoor gallery. To be a part of this fun event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended chalk art to Ms. Weiher in rooms 716 and 717 by Thursday, September 21st, for approval. Spots are limited, so get your drawing in ASAP to be able to participate.
Artworks will be created during 1st through 4th periods on September 26th.
Do you love basketball and are you interested in making some money? Lassen Hoops is looking for referees for the upcoming season. Please come to the counseling office and sign up for an informational meeting.
Seniors don’t forget this Sunday at 2:00 is Sports Media Day in the drama room.
Senior quotes for yearbook are due September 30th. The form is linked in advocacy or through social media.
Chico State Wildcat Preview Day is Saturday, October 14th from 9:00 until 2:00. If you are a senior and are interested in attending, please come see Mr. Freeman to register.
