To celebrate Teacher Appreciation week, dress up like a teacher this Wednesday, May 8th. In return, teachers and staff are encouraged to dress like students.
Senior prom will be held Saturday, May 25th The Class of 2024 is holding a One-Stop Prom Shop on Monday May 13th, from 4:00 to 5:30 in the Student Center. You can buy your bid, order corsages and boutonnières, make appointments for spray tans, prom makeup and hair, and even order your tuxedo!
Lassen Family Services will also have a selection of formal wear to borrow.
Eagle Lake Village is looking for anyone interested in donating time to help entertain their residents. Volunteer/community hours in playing games with the seniors or reading to them, musical entertainment, or bringing out pets or livestock for, “show and tell.” Your contact would be Carrie and you can reach her at 1.530.310.2554.
Do you love to draw? Want to share your visions with our school? Here’s your chance! This Thursday, May 9th, will be a Chalk Pastel Art Day where you will have the opportunity to draw an 18”x 18” drawing of your choice on the zig-zag cement wall leading to the 700 building.
We encourage all artistic students to join us in creating a temporary outdoor gallery at LHS. To be a part of this fun art event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended drawing to Ms. Weiher, rooms 716 and 717, by the end of the day today. The event takes place during 1st through 4th periods on Thursday. For more information, see Ms. Weiher in the Art and Ceramics rooms.
Reminder dance guest requests are always due the Wednesday before a dance. Also, sports physicals are good for the school year not the calendar year.
