The Lassen High Drama Club presents CLUE – High School Edition, May 6th through 8th at 5:30p.m. in the Lassen High Drama Room. Tickets are on sale now.
Come listen to LHS’s Spring Choir Concert on May 9th, at 7:00p.m. at the Methodist Church.
Did you miss the Lassen County Arts Council High School opening reception? If so, it’s not too late to go to the gallery and see the artwork.
The student pieces are still on display through this evening, May 2nd. The gallery is located at 807 Cottage Street in Uptown Susanville. The gallery is open this afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00. Stop in to see the fabulous artwork before the show ends.
It’s time to elect your next ASB and Class Officers. Grab your election forms from Carol in the ASB Office and return back to her as soon as possible. The deadline is Tuesday, May 6th.
Who will be our next Miss Lassen County? Applications are now available for all Junior and Senior girls. Please see Mrs. Bennett in Room 115 for an application. Deadline is May 23rd.
Important Reminder! Credit Recovery Online Plato Courses and PE Logs are due no later than May 16th. Seniors: These courses must be completed and passed in order to participate in senior activities and to receive your diploma. Come see Student Services in the library if you need assistance or to pick up PE Log sheets.
Girls Basketball Open Gyms are on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:30p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00.
Are you fast or have endurance? Join cross country. Are you not sure but want to get involved or get in shape for other sports, join Cross country. There will be a lunch meeting Thursday, May 8th, in room 317 to discuss the upcoming season.
Cap and Gowns will arrive on May 6th and can be picked up at LHS after noon.
Senior Trip – all signed permission slips need to be turned into Mrs. Vincent by May 8th.
Senior Prom Bids are on sale in ASB Office for $10. Seniors and their guest only. Prom is May 10th at Sentimental Journey from 8:00 to 11:00.
Also, if you need a dress, tux, shoes or makeup, the LHS Prom Closet is open May 5th through the 9th, located in Library.
Want to be in the Video for Baccalaureate Night? Baccalaureate ceremony is non-denominational, religious-based ceremony that offers a smaller, more intimate opportunity for the graduating class and their families to pause, reflect on this rite of passage, celebrate through prayer and performance, and celebrate the graduates’ achievements and perseverance.
It is not required to attend, and it is organized by parents and community members. Ours will be held the Sunday before graduation at the Susanville Assembly of God Church, from 6:00 to 8:00p.m.
If you want to be included in the video for Baccalaureate, email a jpeg version of your senior picture to [email protected] by May 23rd. You may also include your favorite Bible verse if you wish.
