Most would think it was just another ordinary week, but for  8 students of Lassen High School the week of July 23rd was a week to remember.

A select group of students from Lassen High’s ASB class were chosen to attend CADA, a leadership camp held in Santa Barbra. There they learned many new things such as community service activities, leadership skills, and how to bring new school spirit back to their high schools.

With a 10 hours drive, Lassen traveled, by far, the longest distance. They were joined by other students from aroundCalifornia. This unique experience allowed all the schools from all aroundCaliforniato unite in an event that allowed them to share ideas on improving their schools with each other and give inspiration to others.

It is a sure fact that the week spent at CADA was an eye opening experience that will make the upcoming year of 2012-2013 one of new ideas and school improvement.
