Lassen Land and Trails Trust Farm Offers Chances to Win Private Farm-To-Table Dinners

“Janesville Grade Autumn” by Therese Fowler-Bailey

Lassen Land & Trails Trust is offering chances to win two private, catered farm-to-table dinners, fine art, a private mixology class and more, in a live, online auction to starting at noon on Tuesday, July 21st. Bidding runs through 5:00p.m., Saturday, July 25th, with all proceeds going to benefit Lassen Land & Trails Trust.

The online auction is this year’s substitution for the annual Farm to Table Dinner, an annual celebration and fundraising event for the Trust.

“Rather than our tradition of convening a dinner for 100 at a local farm or ranch, we feel that these two dinners for families or close friends in a garden setting is more appropriate and in keeping with recommended COVID-19 precautions,” said Tim Keesey, president of the Trust’s board of directors. “The dinners will feature four Basque-inspired courses featuring local products, including locally-raised lamb. Each course will be paired with a fantastic Cooper Garrod wine, who have generously donated to this event.”

Bidding opportunities are available at www.charityauction.bid/LLTT, where auction items are currently available to view.

Bidders will vie for a variety of art and experiences in a live auction, including the following prizes:

  • Once in a lifetime experience of a Private Farm to Table Dinner for you and 9 friends or family on Aug. 22 or Sept. 12 in the shade of the beautifully landscaped gardens at the Every Bloomin’ Thing Nursery.
  • An exquisitely detailed, hand-carved and hand-painted fish sculpture, titled “The Bow Hunter,” by Janesville artist Don Cameron.
  • An exuberant watercolor, “Janesville Grade Autumn,” by local artist Therese Fowler-Bailey.
  • A historic, artist-signed oil painting, “Frontiersman with Pack Horses.” Some speculate the subject could be Peter Lassen.
  • A private 12-guest mixology class with craft cocktails featuring premium liquors, plus booze trivia and cocktail history, held in the lush gardens at Every Bloomin’ Thing. Pick one of three dates in August.
  • Two opportunities to immortalize your pet: a custom pet portrait by Bryan Haynes of Bottle & Brush Art Bar, and a pet photography session with Susan Tangeman.

Be sure and check out our complete listing of incredible auction items at LL&TT’s online auction website at www.charityauction.bid/LLTT. All bidding must take place online during the auction period, July 21st through 25th.

Additional information about this event is available by contacting the Lassen Land and Trails Trust at 530-257-3252 or by email at [email protected].
