Lassen National Forest is looking for friendly faces to serve as volunteer campground hosts at several of the campgrounds. The campground hosts are an important part of the LNF team that greets visitors and provides them with important information about their National Forest.
Host opportunities include highly developed sites on the shore of Lake Almanor, riverfront campgrounds and less developed sites surrounded by natural lakes and designated wilderness.
Hosts are provided with propane as needed, a camp site for the season and dump stations.
Duties include greeting visitors and providing information on Lassen National Forest and the surrounding area, monitoring campground for issues, cleaning restrooms and light maintenance duties.
The work schedule is 20 hours per week 5 days a week. Interested parties are encouraged to contact us as soon as possible.
