Following news from Lassen Municipal Utility District that the utility does not expect power to be restored for an undetermined amount of time, Lassen County Public Health has made space available for residents to utilize generator and emergency power for the use of oxygen equipment only.
This utilization can include charging devices for oxygen equipment and the use of power to run concentrators while conserving oxygen tanks.
This space is located at the Lassen County Public Health Building at 1445 Paul Bunyan Road, Suite D Susanville, CA 96130.
If there are questions please call Public Health’s front reception at 530-251-8183 until 5:00 p.m., or (530) 249-8126.
It is asked for anyone coming to the facility to bring their oxygen concentrators, tubing, and other electrical cords needed to run the equipment.
This space will be available until power is restored. The Lassen County Public Health Department will continue monitoring the ongoing situation.
