Lassen County’s Special Olympians traveled to Reno on June 6th to take part in the Special Olympics’ annual Summer Games.
According to Special Olympics Area Director Carrie Nyman the team earned 16 Gold medals, 5 silver medals and 5 bronze medals and all the athletes had personal best in their events.
