Join the Lassen County Arts Council as they celebrate the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday focusing on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
Day of the Dead artwork will be on display all month and everyone is invited to a special opening reception Tuesday evening, October 13th, from 5:00 to 7:00. On display will be festive paper mache skulls painted by local Artists who have generously donated their creativity and artwork to LCAC for this special exhibit.
Also on display will be colorful paper masks submitted by local youth for the arts council’s annual Halloween art contest and art pieces created by local artists all in the theme of Day of the Dead.
