In celebration of Black History Heritage Month, Lassen College and the Lassen College Foundation will be hosting a virtual student, faculty and alumni panel discussion next Wednesday evening, February 24th, from 6:00 to 7:00p.m.
The panel will feature Lassen College alumni spanning many decades, including many former Cougar student-athlete standouts, as well as current LCC students. The hour-long discussion will touch on topics like dismantling systemic racism, the impact of social media and the BLM Movement in 2020.
The event, which the college calls an, “insightful, reflective and thought-provoking discussion” will be moderated by Susanville native and Lassen alumnus, Pastor James Hall.
