The Lassen Community College English Department will be presenting another Night of the Cinephile April 28th on the school’s campus. Focusing on films of cultural, historic and artistic significance the evening will feature a free showing of the 1947 classic Dark Passage.
The post-war thriller stars Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in the story of a man convicted of murdering his wife who escapes from prison and tries and prove his own innocence.
The movie will be shown in Middleton Hall beginning at 5:30p.m. April 28th. Popcorn, candy and soda will be provided by the college.
The lecture series is also open to all curious LCC students, high school students, community members, and friendly looky-loos who are interested in learning.
