Lassen Municipal Utility District recently completed work on a project that over the course of five months completely rebuilt the eight and a half mile stretch of electrical transmission line between Johnstonville and Standish.
According to LMUD Energy Services Manager Theresa Phillips, the rebuild, which is part of LMUD’s continuing plan of improving system reliability, represents a 2.7 million dollar investment on the part of the utility.
Because of the project’s magnitude LMUD contracted with Wilson Construction to do the work needed to complete the transmission line.
