LASSEN MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT OUTAGE

Customers of Lassen Municipal Utility District in Janesville are experiencing a power outage at this time.
Here is an update on the outage from LMUD’s Energy Services Manager Theresa Phillips.
“Due to a downed power pole on the Bass Hill line that feeds Janesville, all of LMUD’s Janesville customers have been without power since about 3:00a.m.”
“Due to the the extreme weather, crews are unable to access the pole at this time. Crews are working on an alternate feed that will supply power to Janesville via the Standish Substation.”
Phillips also said that the estimated time for restoration is from 6 to 8 hours from now.
