Mortuary Buys New Ambulance
January 14th, 1946

White Mortuary has purchased a new ambulance, formerly an army red Cross car. The steel body carries four stretchers in the rear, and has passenger space in the front seat.

Additions to the mortuary also are being made by Miss Helen White owner. The old elevator has been torn out and the space added to the embalming room. The ceiling will be raised to provide more space in the storage room. A new light metal elevator also will be installed.

Lassen Bowling Alleys to Open

On Saturday, January 12 the new bowling alleys will open Owned by George Kaspian, the building located at Hall and First streets, will have six new alleys and Taylor South will be the manager.

There is talk of organizing teams and business men who bowl are changing a team from the Fruit Growers Supply Co.
