Lassen High School Notes
January 30, 1915

We were pleased to receive visits the week from Helen Pinneo and Florence Boggs, both graduates of this school.

The basketball game which was to be played with Sparks, has been postponed on account of not being able to secure a hall.

The class in manual training have nearly completed a large case in which to keep tools.

Under the direction of Mr. Carpenter the boys are doing very good work, and will probably accomplish much before the term is ended.

The members of the junior class are beginning to work on the annual edition of the “Rays from the Purple.”

Prizes are offered for the three best stories. These must be in the hands of the judges by March 26. They expect to have the book completed by the last of the term.

The class in Agriculture will receive practical experience in pruning trees, as soon as the weather becomes more favorable. They will receive their first instructions by working on the trees on the school grounds.
