Lassen Urges Nevada Highway

Joint meeting of local Chamber of Commerce officials with representatives from Gerlach and Winnemucca is expected this spring.
The groups will confer on possibilities of constructing in the near future a proposed connecting highway from Winnemucca to Route 36 near Susanville.
Exact date and place of the meeting has not been decided, but it is Gerlach the latter part of May, probable that it will be held in the local C. of C. said. Chamber officials here moved recently to urge the highway’s building.
At a recent Chamber meeting, Lewis Walter was elected president, succeeding Elefant as the new vice president.
