Film Star Visits Susanville Today
May 6, 1939

Robert Taylor, famous film star, was a visitor in Susanville today. He was on his way eastward although his destination could not be learned. Taylor stopped in the Liberty Barber Shop for a shave and haircut shortly before noon.

Whether his wife, Barbara Stanwyck, was accompanying him could not be determined as the movie star only remained here for a short time.

A. W. McMiller of the Liberty Shop was able to renew acquaintances with Taylor, having known him when he was in San Diego.
