Board Appoints Vice Principal

Appointment of M. R. Arnold as vice principal of LaSsen Union High School was announced this week.
Arnold is a veteran member of the high school staff, a former coach at the local high school, and for several years has been instructor in general business training.
He will now assume the duties held last year by G. A. Collyer, who was recently named to succeed N. E. McCollom as superintendent of the high school and junior college.
Both the appointment of Arnold and Collyer is for the duration, as McCollom is to enter the armed forces soon.
Besides his duties as vice principal, Arnold will become student council advisor.
