Law enforcement and public agencies from across Lassen County will come together in Susanville’s Memorial Park Tuesday afternoon, August 6th, to celebrate ‘National Night Out,’ a country-wide campaign to help make communities safer places to live and work.
All across the country National Night Out celebrations promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood togetherness to make our towns safer, more caring places to live.
One of the goals of the event is to enhance the relationship between residents and law enforcement while helping to foster a sense of community.
Organizers of the event, which is free, promise food and fun in the park between 4:00 and 7:00 Tuesday afternoon.
