District 1 Senator Ted Gaines will be in town Monday, August 8th, for a ‘meet and greet’ sponsored by the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
The senator is looking to discuss unique local issues that affect us here in Lassen County. The talks are part of a series of community meetings Gaines is holding this month.
“It gives me an opportunity to listen to my constituents,” Gaines said.
“It also gives me an opportunity to update them on what’s happening at the Capitol.”
Gaines represents the people of the 1st Senate District which takes in, along with our own county, all or parts of Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento and Sierra counties.
The ‘meet and greet’ event will be held in the conference room at the Diamond Mountain Hotel and Casino today from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. For more information call the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce at 257-4323.
