There is a new group in town, one that understands what other moms are going through and provides a safe and nurturing space to help them stay connected to who they are and be the mom they want to be.
The Postpartum Support group meets monthly and is a wonderful way for new moms to meet, share their experiences, to be heard, connect, build friendships, and to know that you are not alone.
Local resources will be provided at each meeting and guest speakers will be asked to participate.
There will be information available on self-care, nutrition, breastfeeding, sleep, relaxation, baby care, communication, emotional well-being, relationships, mommy and me activities, parenting and postpartum depression.
May’s meeting will be held in Memorial Park this morning, May 18th, at 10:30. Next month’s meeting is scheduled for June 15th at 10:30.
