A Community Advisory Committee for the Special Education Local Plan, or SELPA, is being formed to work together, share information, provide opportunities and build knowledge about special education issues in our community.
The SELPA assures free, appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment, parent education and other special education activities.
The meetings are open to parents, family members, educators, agency representatives and community members interested in supporting children with special needs.

September 26, Topic: IEP Process/Timelines
December 19, Topic: Inclusion
March 26, Topic: 504 Plan/Coordination
May 21, Topic: Parent Topics for 20-21
Meetings are held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at the Lassen County Office of Education, 472-013 Johnstonville Road.
