The Historic Uptown Susanville Association’s Safe and Sane Halloween party in uptown Susanville was a big hit on Friday with more than 1,000 Lassen county kids making the trek uptown to get candy, show off costumes and have a marvelous time.
The 2nd annual Coffin Races included more teams this year and the races drew a big crowd to watch the homemade coffin-mobiles fly down the street.
