Loveah Marie Wright-Escobedo was the first baby born on Mother’s Day at Banner Lassen Medical Center. This beautiful little girl born at 12:06a.m. weighed 5lbs, 9oz, and was 19 inches long.
“What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift!” said the baby’s mother, Katrina. “I was scared at first but I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The nurses were fantastic and they helped us a lot.”
Proud father Trinidad, holding his new daughter, said, “It was a wonderful experience! The nurses were all great.”
When asked how they decided on the name Loveah, the parents explained it was important for them to have the word “Love” in her name.
