For the last 39 years, the Lassen County Office of Education has held a Sober Graduation event for every graduating senior in Lassen County, providing a safe and substance-free night for high school graduates to celebrate their accomplishments.
This year’s Sober Grad will be held on June 7th, and as you might imagine, a great deal of time and money goes into this event. Because of this, the Office of Education is turning to the community for help.
“Our goal is to provide a gift to every graduating senior,” explains long-time event organizer James Hall. “If you are interested in supporting Lassen County Sober Grad Night, we hope to receive either gift cards, monetary donations, or items that can be added to a gift bag.”
