Job’s Daughters, Cajdi Bethel 46, hosted a fundraising Rubber Duck Race Saturday, and were rewarded with a big turnout in Susanville’s Memorial Park for the fun, family event.
The tiny plastic ducks, which people had purchased online, were set free at the bridge over Paiute Creek near Roop’s Fort. The ducks rode the current to the finish line, where some very brave members of the club stood in the icy water to catch the winners.
