Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative is urging customers to be prepared for potential electrical outages due to weather events by keeping emergency supplies on hand and protecting sensitive electronic equipment with surge protectors.
“Plumas-Sierra REC regrets the inconvenience an outage can cause,” said PSREC Marketing and Member Services Manager Donna Mills, “and thanks everyone for their cooperation.”
PSREC encourages members to report all outages and to listen to your local radio station for updates.
“Please remember to turn off everything that you can during an outage,” Mills asked customers, “and leave all non-essential load turned off to speed restoration efforts.”
