The City of Susanville announced the appointment of Police Chief Kevin Jones to position of Interim City Administrator on Monday.
Chief Jones, who will be filling the role while the city recruits and hires a new Administrator, is a long-time Lassen County law enforcement officer who was hired as Susanville’s Police Chief in November of 2018.
According to Jones the City is currently working on opening the Diamond Mountain Golf Course, including the rental of golf carts.
“There will be COVID-19 preventative measures and rules in place until further notice,” explained Jones, who said that he hopes to have the course open this week.
