The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and Susanville Police Department are still actively searching for 19-year old Susanville resident Matthew Brown, also known as “Ash,” who was last seen March 12th, at Susanville Ranch Park.

According to Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon the LCSO, members of ‘Cowboy 911’, volunteers from the Susanville Fire Department, and many citizen volunteers, have scoured Susanville Ranch Park and the area immediately surrounding it on foot, on motorized vehicles, with horses and with drones.

Still, the missing man has not been located, and the Susanville Police Department, and LCSO continue to investigate this case.

If you have any information about Ash’s possible whereabouts (examples: persons who associate with Ash and may provide him housing, or other places where he might seek refuge from the cold, etc.) please call the LCSO dispatch center at (530)257-6121.

At the time he was dropped off, according to the SPD, Brown was possibly wearing a dark grey hoodie, black shoes, black or dark blue backpack and a sleeping bag or multicolor quilt.

Brown is described as 6-foot tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
