Police Update: Two Incidents Turn Out to be Related

In a follow-up to two stories we reported on last week, investigators from the Susanville Police Department have tied a man who allegedly brandished a firearm near a Limoneria Street apartment complex on December 7th, with a shooting that occurred on Hall Street the previous evening.

According to Police Captain Ryan Cochran, the department identified 24-year old Susanville resident Sean Antonio Gracia, who is currently in custody on unrelated weapons charges, as the suspect in the shooting that took place on December 6th.

In the incident, one person was struck by gunfire and taken to Banner Lassen Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

On Thursday Gracia was arraigned on multiple weapon charges, along with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, for the shooting on December 6th.

He was arraigned on December 9th and is being held at the Lassen County Jail on $150,000.00 bail.
