Update 10:34a.m.
“PG&E has informed us that they are still trying to assess the damage to the lines that supply power to the LMUD system. They plan on using a helicopter to reach inaccessible areas. Also, Honey Lake Power is down for repairs and not running at this time, making it impossible for LMUD to interconnect with them. We are advising folks to prepare for an extended outage. We will post more information as it becomes available.”
Lassen Municipal Utility District customers are still experiencing a system-wide outage this morning.
At 8 a.m. Lassen Municipal Utility District Energy Services Manager Theresa Phillips said that customers are still without power and that PG&E is still assessing the damage to try and pinpoint the exact cause of the problem.
