The Reno Dance Company will again be bringing their professional production of the traditional, holiday ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ to Susanville the first week in December and auditions for local folks who want to be a part of the show will be held in the Veterans Memorial Hall on November 4th.
No dance experience is necessary and both boys and girls, and men and women are encouraged to try out. There is no cost to participate.
The Nutcracker performances are funded and coordinated by Susanville Best of Broadway and the Lassen County Arts Council.
Audition times are as follows:
- 3:30p.m. Boys and Girls 6 to 9 years old
- 4:45p.m. Boys and Girls 10 to 12 years old
- 6:00p.m. Boys and Girls 13 years and up
Rehearsals and performances will be the week of November 27th through December 4th.
Hundreds of local residents travel to Reno each December to see The Reno Dance Company perform this spectacular ballet, this year we can see it right here to our hometown!
