For the 15th year in a row the Susanville Rotary club will load up the busses this Thursday, December 15th, and take local seniors on a tour of the most beautiful light displays in Susanville.
The annual light tour, which is co-sponsored by Lassen Municipal Utility District, ParaTransit and C&S Waste, begins with a social hour from 5:00 to 6:00 at the Senior Center, 1700 Sunkist Drive. Busses will leave at 6:00 for a whirlwind tour of town.
The tour will also head to the Lassen County Fairgrounds to see the displays at the Holiday Festival of Lights!
Limited seating is available and although everyone is invited, seniors will get first preference for seats on the bus tour.
Enter to win cash awards for your residential or business light displays!
This year riders on the light tour will vote for their favorite displays with cash awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the residential category. For the first time there will be a Main Street merchant’s category.
The deadline to reserve a seat on the bus, or to enter the light display contest, is December 14th. We’ll announce the winners here on SusanvilleStuff.
