The Susanville Police Department announced a second arrest today for a 2014 shooting on Martha Street that left one Susanville man dead and sent another to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to Police Lieutenant Matt Wood, Detectives from the Susanville Police Department, with assistance from the Redding Police Department, Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, Shasta County Probation Department, Department of Homeland Security and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation arrested 38 year-old Delwood Duane Wilson Jr. at a residence in Redding.
Wilson had been living out of the area since the February 2014 incident took place. He was booked into the Shasta County Jail on an arrest warrant issued out of the Lassen Superior Court and will be held on $1,500,000 bail.
Lieutenant Wood thanked all of the allied agencies for their assistance in locating and apprehending Delwood Wilson.
The case has been referred to the Lassen County District Attorney for prosecution.
