Seneca Healthcare Announces New Provider for Almanor Walk-in Clinic

The Seneca Healthcare District will be welcoming a new provider, Sarah Finnerty, MD, MPH, FACEP to the Lake Almanor Walk-In Clinic starting on July 15th.

According to Seneca, Dr. Finnerty is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with twenty-five years of experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, inpatient/hospitalist medicine, student health and primary care.

She has experience in CA, PA, NY, and IL.

She will see patients at the Lake Almanor Walk-In Clinic at 199 Reynolds Road, in Chester, where she will be the primary provider through the summer season.

Brady Haynes, COO of SHD, expressed his excitement of the new addition to the team, “Dr. Finnerty will be a great asset to the Lake Almanor Walk-in Clinic and the community we serve. We look forward to working with her this season and hopefully for many seasons to come.”

The walk-in clinic at the Lake Almanor Clinic allows patients to come in and be seen by a healthcare provider without an appointment. Many primary care providers also accept walk-in patients between their scheduled appointments. The Lake Almanor Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8:00a.m., to 5:00p.m., and is closed from noon to 1:00p.m. for lunch.
