Students and staff at Shaffer Elementary in Litchfield are raising ‘Pennies for Patients’ between now and April 3rd, to help fund blood cancer research and patient support services at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
In honor of a staff member Shaffer is joining with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds to take on the mission of ending cancer once and for all.
Shaffer students, staff and their families have already collected a little over half of their $2,020 goal and now they are asking the community to help as well.
