Sheriff’s Department Releases Names of Two Main Street Collision Victims

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of two women who were struck and killed in two separate Main Street collisions earlier this month.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the victim of a January 6th accident, which occurred on Main Street near Crossroads Ministries, as 36-year old Danyell Louise Bailey.

According to LCSO Sergeant Laura Johnson, deputies responded to Banner Lassen Medical shortly before 7:30a.m. after receiving a report that Bailey had been struck by a vehicle.

Her official cause of death is still pending.

Johnson also identified a 37-year old woman who was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Main Street January 17th as Jennifer Lee McDonald.

The Sheriff’s Office was called to the 1800 block of Main Street, near Sinclair Gas at around 10:30 Friday night and McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her official cause of death is still pending.
