Six Susanville residents have expressed a desire to fill a vacancy on the Susanville City Council and a special meeting has been scheduled for 10:00a.m., on April 17th, to allow the council to interview candidates and make a decision. “The Government Code requires that appointments to the City Council be conducted in an open public meeting,” explained City Administrator Jared Hancock,Ā who encouraged anyone interested to attend.

TheĀ special meeting will be held in the Susanville City Council chambers at 66 N. Lassen Street.
