On Wednesday, July 19th, The LCC Special Athletes & Activities Club will again be part of ‘Special People’s Day’ at the Lassen County Fair, bringing their fun ‘Dunk Tank’ fundraiser.
According to S.A.A.C. Faculty Advisor Carrie Nyman, the proceeds from this event will help fund the club with two college scholarships (Kia Jonas Memorial Scholarship and Yvonne Logan Memorial Scholarship), parade float, purchase uniforms for Special Olympics and any other community activity the club members would like to do throughout the year.
