A late-evening structure fire in a residence on Arnold Street, which fire officials say was caused by burning candles, was quickly extinguished by the Susanville City Fire Department Wednesday.
According to Fire Captain Mark Ward, on February 24th, at approximately 10:57p.m., the Susanville Fire Department, along with automatic aid from the Susan River Fire Protection District and Cal-Fire responded to a residential structure fire located on the 900 block of Arnold Street in Susanville.
When firefighters arrived, light smoke was seen coming from the residence.
