A Susanville man has been arrested on multiple charges including brandishing a firearm and resisting arrest after he led police on a very short foot pursuit on Limoneria Avenue Monday afternoon.
At around 1:00 on Monday officers from the Susanville Police Department were dispatched to the area of 500 Limoneria after receiving reports that a man was brandishing a firearm.
“As officers were responding, they observed a male subject matching the description walking away from the area,” Police Captain Ryan Cochran explained in details provided by the SPD.
As they attempted to contact the subject he fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended less than a block away.
“Upon canvasing the area, a firearm was located near the area of arrest,” said Cochran.
After positive identification of the subject and firearm, 24-year old Susanville resident Sean Antonio Gracia was arrested for brandishing a firearm, resisting arrest and several weapons violations.
Gracia was transported to the Lassen County Jail where he is being held on $150,000.00 bail.
