Now is the time to get those Christmas Angel Tree and Food Box applications in to the Susanville Salvation Army. The application deadline is November 30th, and there are only limited spots available, so apply early.
Angel Giving Tree – For local youth ages birth to 17. (18 if still in high school) A tag representing the child and their Christmas wishes will be put on one of The Salvation Army’s Angel Giving Trees. Local donors take the tag and purchase the gifts and return them to the Salvation Army for distribution.
Christmas Food Box – All of the fixings for a Christmas Dinner including a whole turkey.
To apply call 1 (530) 257-0314 or stop by the Salvation Army office at 1560 Main Street between 9:00a.m. and 12:00p.m., Monday through Friday.
