Lassen Family Services Parenting Group Classes. Reduce the chaos and power struggles; learn an approach to parenting that is both simple and effective. “Positive Parenting with a Plan,” by Matthew A. Johnson, Psy. D., MSW, helps parents establish order and structure in the home, including rewards and positive consequences that work! Designed as a 12-week program, group and individualized instruction is provided on an on-going basis. Group classes are held Tuesdays from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. and Fridays from 10:00–11:00 a.m.

The 7th annual Low-Cost Rabies and Licensing Clinic will be held at Memorial Park from 10:00 – 2:00 pm. Bring your dogs and cats dog to get rabies shot and license! (Cats only get rabies shots not licenses). Remember, it is a law to have your dog licensed within the city and the county. You cannot purchase a license without proof of rabies.
