Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Start working off Thanksgiving dinner a little early and help out a great local organization at the 8th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. Families and children are encouraged to participate in this fun 3.1 mile race which will begin promptly at 8:30a.m. at Lassen Senior Center, 1700 Sunkist in Susanville. Prizes for best costume and largest family group. There is no cost to enter, however, participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or donation for Lassen Senior Services.

Honey Lake Hospice Memorial Tree. The 18th annual Honey Lake Hospice ‘Light Up A Life’ Tree. All are welcome to visit the tree, which lights up each night, from Saturday, November 20th through the first of the new year, outside, at Honey Lake Hospice, 60 S. Lassen St., Susanville.
