Historic Uptown Susanville Association’s Annual Safe & Sane Halloween. Bring the kiddies uptown for a fun, safe and colorful Halloween evening. There will be a pet costume contest, children’s costume contest, and coffin races! Historic Uptown Susanville’s streets will be closed and businesses will be handing out candy to kids under 12. 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

The Lassen College Foundation is hosting a Hay-Day Homecoming from 4:00 – 7:30 pm in the Cougar Cafe and Courtyard on campus. The rockin’ redneck revival-themed event will feature live music by Timeless, led by Lassen alum, Cort Cortez. Faculty, staff, students and the community are invited to attend. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for LCC and LHS students with ID, 17-under get in free. Admission includes live entertainment, light snacks, a selfie station, s’more’s bar, line dancing lessons and patio games. Non-alcoholic beverages and a no-host bar will be available. Tickets will be available at the door.
