It is with great sadness and sorrow that we have lost our son Ted Wayne Tassi to his fight with the disease of alcoholism.
He was born in Susanville on February 11, 1972 to Janice and Randy Tassi. He left behind a loving sister Angela “Tassi” Russell, Brother in law Brian Russell, Brother, Cousin Danny Gunzburg, Brother in law Darin Berry and Michelle Berry, and preceded in death by a younger sister Kelly “Tassi” Berry in 2003 as well as both sets of grandparents.
He had a best friend in his Uncle Larry Toland (Dumb and Dumber as they were known by family members). As well as numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. Ted had a tight circle of childhood friends and navy buddies.
Ted attended Lassen Union high school. He proudly served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy for 5 years. He then attended University of Nevada Reno and earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree.
Ted moved to Meridian, Idaho and worked over 20 years between Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and The Boise Veterans Medical Center.
Ted had a daughter Gianna Marie Tassi and son Madero Franco Tassi whom he loved dearly and was most proud of.
Ted loved hunting, golfing, the New Orleans Saints and his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. He had an incredible sense of humor and was an amazing storyteller. We loved him beyond words.
