The summer-long series of Eagle Lake Nature Programs continues this week with three events planned for visitors to the lake.
Junior Rangers Aug. 3 Playing it safe at the lake and in the forest. Meet and learn from the Eagle Lake Boat Patrol Officers and CalFire — and maybe Smokey the Bear at the Merrill Campground Amphitheater at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome.
Aug. 5 Dr. Lew Oring
Join Dr. Lew Oring at the jetty at the Eagle Lake Marina at 9:30 a.m. for a bird walk/talk. Bring binoculars if you have them!
Aug. 5 Bob Woods
Nature at Night presents “Eagle Lake Forest Fires” Saturday, Aug. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Merrill Campground Amphitheater with Bob Woods. Come out to learn about the various fires in the Eagle Lake area—do you remember any? County Road A1, Eagle Lake, South Shore. (in the event of rain, event will be postponed or canceled)

Everyone is welcome to attend the Eagle Lake Nature programs—it’s a great event for families, campers, locals, scouts, and all who appreciate Eagle Lake. All programs are free.
